Devices begin to take a toll on the Chinese Military killing some 300
soldiers this last few weeks alone. Snipers continue to cause havoc
killing several senior officers including commander of the 4th Shock
army General Pei Xi Wang. The Army responded with full force and fury
in an action that was taped and broadcast on Youtube. by a student
group. The video which included Chinese Soldiers using fragmentation
grenades and indiscriminate automatic cannon fire on houses and several
officers were seen executing wounded civilians, and soldiers were using
bayonets to interogate people to find the sniper who was hung from a
tree by enraged soldiers.
Independance protests in tibet continue including being outside the
'free speech zones' However one change is Buddhist monks began to take
more of a lead and the protests have been peaceful, however even the

People are happy for the president with the birth of his son, well
wishes have flown in and it seems a temporary truce is in place.
However the new federal aid rules are chafing a lot of social activists,
Protests in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Washington over the new
rules calling them, 'a new plantation life.' Several prominant social
conservatives are protesting the cost of new government regulations.
The Chicago protests turned violent with protestors clashing with police
and starting a fire in a Social Security office, damage over 150,000
dollars with 45 arrests and 10 injuries.
Protests in Detroit however broke down in to rioting, Fires, looting and
violence continued to burn, Police report over 100 arrests, damage has
toped over 10 million dollars.
The push for new manufacturing jobs has the support of the major unions,
Machinsts, Teamsters to increase their rolls which had been dwindling
slowly.
Several major nursing organizations have jumped on board including
American Nursing Association, Emergency Nurses Association, and several
others, already announcing plans to reach out to high schools to
encourage students for careers in Nursing, and several major hospitals
have announced Student Nurse programs where they will offer employment
and pay for nursing school in exchange for employment after being certified.
The Emergency Services Workers association also applaud the effort to
increase licensed Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. Though
they did point out that the patchwork of state regulation makes things
more difficult with paramedics having to retake basic training when they
move states since there is no reciprocity beteween State Departments of
Emergency Medicine.
