"UK Times they are a changing."
PM Dennis Brandt
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Silently they sipped their pints as the election returns came in from
the districts.

Labor was going down to a historic defeat Dennis was actually rather
pleased. The plans he had discussed in this very pub were coming to
Fruition, when he watched the first ever Liberal Democrat Prime Minister
refer to the US President as Pedro or Pancho or something during a live
press confrence.

The Alzheimer's diagnosis was a scary time as was the governmental
roller coaster, from Labor to Lib Dem to even Green for a period of 5
months, nothing really got done, that was the good thing but when they
recalled 4 separate ambassadors to the US and had gone from agreeing
with the US on terror, to criticizing them for executing a serial killer
in Texas to the point where Ambassadors had been recalled again. Then
the Parliament voted no confidence in the last government, a rather
ineffective Green PM who had refused to dissolve and call for elections
arguing it was a political plot against him which resulted in the
opposition asking for dissolution of parliament from the queen.

The election had been about stability, bringing back freedom, repairing
breached relationships, and undoing mistakes.

The newsreader continued as Conservatives won more seats, soon they had
achieved Majority status, it was a good sized majority, not too large
but enough that there would be no coalition needed.

As he gestured to the Publican for another pint his wife, Angela put her
hand on his shoulder, "You better stop, you don't want to form your
government with a hangover."

He nodded and instead bought a glass of water and watched the election
results roll in.

He did it, he was Prime Minister.

Action
1) Nothing much just elected Prime Minister
2) More to come
