Works for me.
Leader: Prime Minister Hiroshi Sakai
Country: Japan
Party In Charge: Democratic Party of Japan has a slim majority in the lower
house, which gives them the gov't. The DPJ is mostly a centrist party, the
Socialists and the Communists sucking away the true left-leaning loonies.
Also, since politicians don't come up in a vaccum have you met my leader?
Here's a breif bio.
Born in 1960 in Osaka, father was a medical doctor who served in China in
WWII, his mother was a house wife and has two half-brothers and one full
blooded sister.
1978 - 1982 - Attended Waseda University, Japan's breeding ground for
government types.
1983 - 1989 - Attended Center for Comparitive and International Studies in
Zurich Switzerland, earned his PHD in Political Science.
1990 - 1993 - Professor at the International University of Kansai Gaidan,
teaching political science.
1993 - Ran for the DPJ in Osaka's 3rd district.
1994 - Published, "The Eastern Century" predicting a shift in power towards
Asia in the 21st century.
1996 - Won 3rd District.
2008 - Made Minister of Foreign Affairs.
2010 - Represented Japan at the disarmament talks with North Korea.
- Represented Japan on numerous trade talks and visits around the
world.
2011 - Elected President of the DPJ and voted in as Prime Minister.
So anyone else likely to bump into my char? Just thought it would be fun if
there was some backstory between a few of the characters.
