Okay, folks.
I'm in a rare mood. Called feeling semi-productive. I'm also the semi-
dictator here, so you get to feel it.
Here is what I want: Country profiles.
How I want them: See Ian's 'Japan 2013' of Feb 7. Use those topic
headings as a -base-.
Because some people need deadlines, I'm going to set February 23 (next
Friday) at 9 am EST as the deadline.
Your country isn't locked in until I've seen and approved your
profile. This is in part a 'are you still here?' check, yes.
It does -not- need to be super-detailed, but Ian's is a good example.
If they're all in by next Friday, I will busy myself that weekend by
compiling everything into a timeline and other references. Initially,
these will be .doc files. If we find a webmaster, they can then be
turned into web postings.
For my sake, give your profiles the subject 'country 2013'.
My goal is that we have everything set up by March 1, which will be
our POD. Also, at 0000 EST on March 1, all OOC chatter (like this)
moves to the war_ooc list.
We will then begin play on March 5, the following Monday, giving
everybody time to write intro posts and so forth.
I have no idea what kinda schedule I'll be able to keep with World
Reports, so I'm not going to outline that yet; I'm also
pondering...With our future time, we don't necessarily need to go 1:1
on time, as we have previously. However, I have no idea what kinda
time advancement people want, and I think I'll just play that by ear.
If anybody here knows anybody who can do webstuff - scaling back my
ambitions, let's just find people who can do advanced HTML and
graphics stuff - please let me know.
Also, I need someone to design me templates for:
World Reports
Action Reports - This idea worked well
Flash reports get written uniquely.
Email proposed template designs to me as an -attached .doc file-.
Your Fearless Leader,
John
