“Crib Notes”
Prime Minister Shunichi Sato
Japan
October 18th 2006

Sato entered his Section 3 breifing with a confident stride and shook hands
with Yoshida and the Air Defence Force Colonel who was waiting for him. He
had all of three minutes before he had to move on to other things.

“Lets be quick gentlemen,” Sato said.

Yoshida nodded to the Colonel.

“As you know the KRF have moved the bulk of their forces to the mountains
north of Kusong.”

Sato nodded. “Yes I know…” it put them a long way from the coast and any
Japanese aid.

“Their intention is to defend the refugees fleeing the country. However it
has given the KPA a fairly good idea of where to look for them.”

Sato nodded.

“What we propose sir, is giving the KRF these, taken at 05:30 this morning.”

Sato looked at the pictures that were slid to him they were from the
satellite network he could tell and showed he deduced the mountains north of
Kusong.

“I take it those armoured vehicles are the KPA’s?” Sato said wryly.

“Yes sir.”

The Colonel put down a second picture with a great deal more territory
covered in the image. It looked like the sort of thing you could download on
the internet these days.

“We are going to propose to the KRF doing some damage to the road between
the crossroads here,” he pointed to the major crossroads north of Kusong.
“And Uiju on the Chinese-North Korean border as well as obstructing or
destroying the roads from Uiju to elsewhere. The idea would be to make a
corridor that the refugees can cross through but the armoured infantry
sections wouldn’t be able to easily follow. It could buy them some time at
very little risk.”

“Go ahead,” Sato said with little deliberation. “Also see if we can’t send
them our imagery of the rocket sites in that area. I’d like to see that fuel
destroyed before too long.”

The men nodded. “Of course Prime Minister,” said Yoshida.

With that settled Sato stood nodded to both men and took his leave.

Actions:

1>	Pass the KRF intelligence on the KPA positions in the area around Kusong.
2>	Suggest that they make the road between Kusong and Uiju impassable for
tanks and use it as a corridor for the refugees.
3>	Continue to push for the destruction of the KPA’s missile fuel.
