POTUS tried hard not to choke on his can of Coke. Fortunately, he 
succeeded.

"Say again? The Chinese want to train at MWTC?" Pause. "Okay...General 
Pace, what are you thinking?"

Pause.

"Eh, that makes sense. OK, run with it. So far as their using our 
helos and the like goes, I have no objections, I'll leave decisions 
like that to you and your subordinate commanders, General Abizaid."

"Yeah, cost-reimsurable, they pay the same rate as ye average country, 
no NATO discounts or the like, and they bring their own gear. On the 
other hand, they get treated no worse, really."

"Alright. General Pace, you may advise the PRC Mil Attache that we 
approve training on a cost-reimbursable basis at the usual rate we 
would charge the average foreign country, and advise the Marines they 
can have fun training the PLA for an Afghan deployment."
