Jin had been Seung's friend for several years ever since that night
when they had both lost everything. Together they had planned on
dieing but so far neither had been lucky enough to, or so they had
joked so many times. This was one of them.

Planning for this raid had been in place for 2 months now. The two
with a group of like minded people had been running small raids for
the past year now, attacking small groups of soldiers or lightly
manned outposts gaining weapons, food, courage, just a little hope, as
misguided as it may have been. They had been an annoyance, a gnat in
you ear that you swing at but don't pay attention to.

This was different though; they were attacking an armored column
tonight. The 'Korean Revolutionary Force', what they had come to be
known by, had much smaller force but with enough weapons that they
should have been able to take the army and escape before more arrived.
It had gone so well, at first.

The jeeps, crested the hill, followed by several supply trucks and a
single tank when Seung called the order. 50cal machine gun began to
rain down on the jeeps and trucks. They never had a chance to maneuver
before their drivers lie dead, the tank however had locked on and
fired. Men died on both sides the tank, a magnifying glass seeming
killing ants at will, until it was Jin and Seung ran up along side of
it, climbing on and throwing a simple Molotov cocktail thru the small
visors then sitting on the top hatch while those inside struggled in
vain.

Moving quickly several men and women jumped inside the trucks loaded
with stolen humanitarian aid, foodstuffs, and underneath them weapons
hidden inside crates marked fresh fruit. Driving away quickly the rest
of the freedom fighters blended into the countryside. Jin and Seung
stood there for a moment, looking over what had happened and the looks
in their eyes told the story.

"This isn't overlookable…they will be hunting us after this, wont
they?" Seung said slowly looking up and the stars, not needing an
answer. The both knew the truth.
